What to Expect

As described by the Midwives Alliance of North America, the Midwives Model of Care provides individualized care throughout the childbearing year for low-risk clients and fosters normal physiologic birth, low in interventions. In addition, the Midwives Model of Care offers collaborative care with medical providers when necessary to ensure the safest birth possible, up to and including transfer of care.
